No boating experience needed, up to 10 aboard, dogs welcome. Here is everything we get asked most, from the helm to the cancellation policy.
On board
Life aboard a Duffy: who can come, what you can bring, how it works.
Do I need a boating license or experience?
No. No boating license or experience is needed. We get you comfortable at the helm before you cast off.
How many people can come aboard?
Up to 10 guests, including children and pets.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes. Up to 2 dogs, 50 pounds or under, are welcome aboard.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Alcohol is permitted for guests of legal age. California boating-under-the-influence laws apply and the waters are patrolled.
Is there music aboard?
Every boat has a Bluetooth stereo. Personal speakers are not permitted.
Before you go
A few things to know before your departure time.
How old do I need to be to rent?
The renter must be 25 or older with a valid driver's license.
When should we arrive?
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your departure time to check in.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking is available dockside at Marina Pacifica, behind Nordstrom Rack.
Policies
The fine print, in plain language. We walk you through all of it at check-in so there are no surprises on the water.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours ahead can be rescheduled. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full. Reservations are not transferable for credit.
What if we return late?
Late returns are charged $50 per 15 minutes so the next guests can depart on time.
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking or vaping aboard. A $250 cleaning fee applies.
Are we responsible for damage?
Renters are responsible for any damage and excessive cleaning. We walk you through everything at check-in so there are no surprises.
